Designing through continuous learning
Learning is a core thing for me, so I’ll try to share what’s been on my radar now and then. Here’s my Q1:
📚 Books
'Identity Designed' by David Airey is a gorgeous and insightful look at brand identity work.
'Surviving Design' by Ioana Teleanu: honest and real, I'm really excited to read it finally.
'Cues: Master the Secret Language of Charismatic Communication' by Vanessa Van Edwards: fascinating read on human behavior and communication
💻 Classes, webinars
Martin Perhiniak's Design Challenge 2026
This year, we simulated the creation of a full promotional campaign using AI tools, vibe-coded the presentation site, and I was really impressed by what came out of it. The community is full of incredibly talented designers. Recently, he launched the 'Generative AI Masterclass for Creators', which is on my list.
IxDF: back on the platform
Picked up where I left off with advanced courses and masterclasses. So much good stuff in there. I missed it.
Communication & soft skills
Been exploring this space intentionally, diction, how to articulate ideas clearly, and attended 'Presenting Work with Confidence', by Mike Monteiro, a workshop I can't recommend enough.
✨️ Aaaand something I'm really proud of:
UXPA Mentorship Program
This one I'm very excited about. Joined UXPA this quarter and started a mentorship program, and I can already feel it's going to be one of the most meaningful things I do this year.
Curious what's been on your reading list or learning queue lately.
